Wow it’s been ages since I found time to add content to this site, I’m really sorry! Anyway there’s a great reason why I’m updating this page. Uniqlo’s T-Shirt range this year is TOEI animation. This means Dr Slump and Dragon Ball shirts! hooray. Fanboy.com has pictures of a few of them. So far they only seem to be in some shops, but keep an eye out as Uniqlo often take time rolling out designs to all their shops. The web shop also typically has a small selection.

As much as I’d like to, I haven’t done as much with this website as I’d have liked to. Since switching to wordpress I’ve barely managed to input the chapter data let alone put any details about what happens each chapter, or ant of the more troublesome areas such as the character guide. Or even go back and add scans from my Japanese editions!

I’m looking for Dr Slump fans willing to help me with the site adding any content you think we need. As well as helping with the manga guide. This is a fan project but you’ll get an account here so you’ll be credited.

The Time Traveller pointed this trailer out to me in comments. Sounds VERY FUNimation to me. Can’t find any official word but since that narrator keeps talking the whole trailer, I am guessing it’s a pitch video to people like Cartoon Network so It may not even be set in stone.

Wow, I haven’t updated this for a while and for that I am sorry. New job combined with DBZ box sets = little time.

Anyway according to Amazon ( since Viz have only gone up to 14) here’s the next batch of Dr Slump releases:

Vol 14 1st of Jan 2008 – ( so you should be able to get this now )

Vol 15-6th May 2008

Vol 16 -2nd September

Nice to see they aren’t rushing things. Lets hope this comes out before the manga market crashes and I have to learn Japanese properly.

New Dr Slump

The new Dr Slump ran from 1997-1999, and ran for 97 episodes. Rather than being based on the ” New Dr Slump” it’s a remake of the original anime, but with some updates, in fact it’s one of the first T.V anime to be animated digitally.
