The Time Traveller pointed this trailer out to me in comments. Sounds VERY FUNimation to me. Can’t find any official word but since that narrator keeps talking the whole trailer, I am guessing it’s a pitch video to people like Cartoon Network so It may not even be set in stone.

I’d like to inform you that Funimation did not do that dub. Considering that the voice of Samuel Vincent (Double D from Ed, Edd n Eddy) is it and that the trailer was posted on Toei Animation Europe’s site, it is possible that AB International Distribution and the Ocean Group (Y’know, the companies that did the Canadian dub of Dragonball Z) made that dub and that AB may have the rights to it in English-speaking countries.

Thought not was taking a wild guess. I am thinking now that it may have been dubbed by TOEI in order to sell it to American anime companies.

the first episode of the first anime came to the u.s. but it never cuoght on.
